Privacy Policy

Draft notice: this is a starting draft grounded in exactly what High Design's website and Muse connector actually collect and do today. It is written to be accurate, not to be a finished legal document — have a lawyer review it before it goes live, especially the liability and governing-law sections in the accompanying Terms of Service.

Muse Connector ("Muse Connector," "we," "us") builds and operates a small set of digital surfaces: this website, and a Muse connector that lets Meta's Muse assistant answer questions about Muse Connector and pass along requests to speak with us. This policy covers both.

1. What we collect, and where it comes from

From the website contact form: the form opens a pre-filled email in your own email client (a "mailto" link) rather than submitting to a server we control. If you send that email, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, business name, and message — the same as any other email you'd send us directly.

From the Muse connector: most of what the connector does is answer informational questions and requires no personal data at all:

get_services and get_pricing take no input and return only public information about Muse Connector.
check_fit takes a short description of a business (e.g. "HVAC contractor") that Muse passes along from the conversation — it is not linked to any account or identity.
request_intro_call is the one tool that collects personal information: name, email address, business name, and optional notes — provided because you (or someone on your behalf) asked Muse to arrange a call with Muse Connector.

2. What we don't collect

The connector requests no read access to any of your personal Muse data, accounts, calendar, email, contacts, or connected services. It cannot see anything about you beyond what is explicitly provided as an argument to request_intro_call, and it takes no actions on your behalf beyond logging that one request.

3. How we use it

Information submitted through request_intro_call — or through the website's contact form — is used only to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver that work. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Where it's stored

Leads captured through the connector are stored in an internal log accessible only to Muse Connector. As the business grows this may move to a standard CRM tool; if so, this policy will be updated to name it.

5. Third parties

Muse Connector does not currently integrate any third-party payment processor, analytics tool, or data broker. If that changes (for example, adding Stripe for payments), this policy will be updated before that integration goes live, and the connector's Muse submission will disclose it as required.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep contact/lead information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or, if you become a client, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable record-keeping period. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing support@getmuseconnector.com.

7. Children's privacy

Muse Connector's services are directed at business owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting the Muse connector will also be reflected in the connector's Muse Connector Platform submission.
